This book and it's author are amazing. Michele says in her book that she's the kind of person that wants to get started on things immediately. This is why this book appealed to me so much. I had already read several books on this topic yet I wanted a guide to begin immediately. This book is concise yet provides excellent information on Wicca, how to cast the magick circle, altar tools, you name it. It is easy to read and imitates Michele's friendly, relaxed style. One of the most wondrous things is that I contacted Michelle via her web site and she responded that SAME DAY with words of encouragement, support and advice regarding my very first Imbolc and full moon ritual. I truly feel that this is the best book ever for a begining witch; you will not find a book that's easier to read, more positive & encouraging, more informative, more interesting. If you want to start practicing & don't want to be confused with a ton of useless info, GET THIS BOOK. It covers all the basics: everything you'll need to get started. The author seems like a wonderful person who truly wants you to learn without confusion and with joy and fun. Don't get me wrong, it's not full of "fluff". It's serious magic laid out in an easy, workable format. BUY THIS BOOK!
