Sufism and Psychology is a GREAT piece of work by Dr. Lynn Wilcox. I truly enjoyed her research and how much she knows about the subject. She has been raised and taught by the ONE Prominent Sufi Master of our time, Molana-al-Moazam, Hazrat Salaheddin Ali Nader Shah Angha, "Pir Oveyssi". I also recommend the books written by His Holiness.
I have been able to use this book several times in my academic work and with my University students. If you are interested in the convergence of transpersonal psychology and Islam, this book is a must read. May be a bit frustrating and written at too high a level for non-scholar types however. Wilcox has obviously done her homework and does not water down or mince words. A must for academics/students in this field.
