A magical book. Each chapter opens with a photograph of a flower that is incredibly beautiful. Naomi's encouragement to use the breathing techniques, postures, and meditations is gentle, light, and effective. Whether I'm reading a whole chapter or a few paragraphs, I always feel uplifted and soothed.
Naomi Call's Yoga in Bed was a revelation. I took one yoga class years ago but even those new to yoga would enjoy and benefit from the easy-to-follow directions and glorious yet peaceful illustrations. I have given this book as a gift to five of my friends and they all expressed the same opinion. Not having to jump right out of bed and developing the habit of yoga in the morning is so worth setting the alarm a little earlier.
