This is the perfect book for any couple, whether planning a wedding or not. It not only describes handfastings, weddings, and mixed ceremonies, but provides advice, spells, and wisdom for anyone in love. There is a definite focus on how to blend religions, and options for Pagan or mixed couples. It is full of practical and beautiful spells, meditations, recipes, and ceremonies. It contains a lot of information for such a small book! While it may not be the only wedding guide you use, it is definitely the perfect place to start. It is also a very easy read, not overwhelming or too technical. I highly recommend this book to anyone in love, or just a romantic at heart!

I just finished reading Rev. Dr. Kendra's book on the way to work this morning. Wow!! Now I want to plan a handfasting!

I loved to flow of the book. There was a lot of information in there, but it wasn't overwhelming. I also loved all of the historical tidbits for each of the traditions as well as the metaphysical meanings behind everything. The one that particular struck me was the Samhain themed wedding....I could literally visualized it down to the smallest detail! (I consider this book to be a major asset in my metaphysical library. Kudos!!
