It is a special treat to discover a book that teaches, liberates, AND captivates. T.L. Orcutt has managed to do that with "Jamayah". By the third chapter I was hooked into the adventures as if they were my own, much as I felt when first reading Carlos Castaneda. What is unique to "Jamayah", however, is the way in which Orcutt expands our spiritual understanding by artfully weaving threads of Zen, Taoism, Hinduism, Mahayana Buddhism, Theravada, witchcraft and sorcery throughout his story. There's a wealth of information and wisdom here and I've already begun a second read to more fully mine it. Besides, I can't quite get enough of the mysterious and disarming guru Jamayah. I do hope Orcutt shares more of him with us.
