Reader's Review: Intuitive deck

This is a beautiful deck! I have just started using it for readings for myself and others, and it seems that I am able to make intuitive connections about relationships with this deck. The pictures are sensuous and detailed, and not frightening at all, and the readings I have done so far seem accurate in the issues they bring to light.

Reader's Review: Tarot of a Thousand and One Nights is a visual feast

I am a collector of tarot decks and have taught tarot at community colleges and in small groups that often include artists and poets from a university community, so I have many decks and I often recommend decks to my students. This deck is exqusite and gorgeous. Each card is a different illustrated painting from the 1001 Arabian Nights by artist Leon Carre. These are beautiful, with colors that are rich, and exceptional illustrations. Many tarot decks are not this beautiful and if a reader is past the beginning stage, decks can be too simple to be inspiring so this is a joy to use. The deep, rich colors on this tarot deck stimulate the imagination and intuition and help the reader to reach more deeply within. It is easy to use this deck as a source of meditation and inspiration and to really enjoy the beauty of the deck and the story that is associated with each card. The small book that accompanies it is fine but I would have liked a fuller explanation although that may have made for a very large book. The cards are small enough to fit comfortably in my hands when doing the different spreads. Bigger cards would have been more visually appealing but the cards would have been harder to handle, so this is the best compromise. Even though the cards are small, the illustrations by Leon Carre are clear and beautiful and inspiring to the imagination. I think this is the most beautiful of many beautiful decks that I have. I keep a tarot journal so I use them daily and find that I never tire of them. Since I teach tarot as a path to stimulate creativity, I value decks that are beautifully illustrated and this one is especially good for inspiration, imagination and intuition.
