I have read literally dozens of books about feng shui. One of the things anyone finds after reading more than two or three books on the subject is that there are a lot of contradictions. This often leads to a lot of confusion. In MaryAnn's book, "The Feng Shui Factor", she clears up a lot of this confusion by getting to what the essence of feng shui is and how to incorporate good feng shui in your environment. This is clearly a case where a simpler approach is better than the many more complex and sometimes limiting approaches. By limiting, I mean those approaches that are couched in fear and superstition. MaryAnn has done an excellent job of demystifying a very complex subject, making it understandable and relatively easy to implement the basic principles into one's home or business.
