Although this book is extremely easy to read, if a person is not open to what the authors are asking you to accept, then the concept may seem odd. However, as a person who understands the laws of the universe, this book is an excellent way to introduce the Law of Attraction to those who might not quite grasp the power of thoughts as the true center of what we attract to our lives.
Therefore, to those who are seeking to understand the Law of Attraction better, this is a great written resource. It s a great resource because the authors explain how your thought processes work in what you think about positive and negative you attract them by how much you think about them (your vibrational transmitter). What I've learned the most from the book is creating my own reality and what my reality is not that of others...and no one else can affect my reality as I cannot affect theirs. This is an important message because we has humans have a hard time realizing it isn't what others do to us, its what we do to ourselves....The second part of the book gives the reader practical methods of channeling more positive thoughts and how we can attract and allow all the best and good things to our lives.
Abraham, the name given to the group of 'entities' being channelled by Esther Hicks, makes you think of a bunch of kindly, trusted bunch of church going saints, looking out for your best interests. Well, let me tell you, the only one looking out for your best interests is you, and you'd better wake up before it's too late. Yes, indeed, there are non-physical entities out there, and some of them may even be offering some helpful advice. However, if you believe in 'good' entities, then it goes without saying that there are also 'bad' entities out there. The real trick is determining what type you are dealing with, because they have a well deserved reputation for being extremely deceitful and adept at fooling you. I listened to the 'introductory' CD from Abraham, and thought it was kind of strange/hokey that you could hear all kinds of wierd noises in the background, like a 'B' rated horror flick. It wasn't until I went to bed and was attacked by Demons in my sleep that I realized how serious and genuine these guys are. I've been dealing with the occult for many years, and I have experienced non-physical entities in the past, and I am confident in my ability to tell the good from the bad. Trust me, whatever was trying to force it's way into my body last night was definitely NOT GOOD. Only by praying and asking for the help of Jesus as I pushed back on this thing, was I able to keep it out of me, and probably avoid being possessed. Later that same night, I was visited by a male and female demon pair (it was obvious by their looks and the fact that they tried to force me to go along with them to receive answers to all my questions). I'm not positive, but I believe them to be the Hicks couple themselves. As I said, I've been dealing with the occult for a very long time, but only rarely have I experienced the kind of negative energy associated with these teachings. I am definitely not a 'Jesus Freak', but I believe in the afterlife, and in good and bad spirits, and I'd rather hang onto my own soul for a bit longer, thank you. If you want answers to your questions, go to the source, God, and stay away from things that go bump in the night and just might bite you in the a$$.
I give thes works 5 stars, because I bleieve them to be genuine, and it isn't often that you can so readily identify genuine evil.
