For the student pursuing a serious education in the field of Spiritual Psychology along the lines of such thinkers as C. G. Jung, James Hillman, Robert Sardello etc. this is a book you might best ignore.
Apart from the obvious signs such as grammatical errors and spelling mistakes that unfathomably escaped the editing process and pervade throughout, I still can't consider this book an academic work. It amounts to a subjective, seemingly arbitrary collection of thoughts and theories designed by the author, published after having arrived via a channeled connection to his mind from an external entity he refers to as "The Group". This statement alone should suffice as a suitable warning to anyone of an educated ilk.
I decided on this purchase as a result of the title, a title I now feel is highly misleading. A more appropriate title might be "New Age Spirituality According to Steve Rother". Nevertheless, this book might be appreciated by followers of The New Age Spirituality that do not demand a high degree of academic legitimacy in their personal studies.
At best, I would evaluate Steve Rother as a self-proclaimed spiritual visionary. At worst, I fear this work is grossly irresponsible and fails to serve the greater needs of an interested student.
WOW! Steve Rother has written this book which is nothing less than a pure gift to humanity. Spiritual Psychology: The Twelve Primary Life Lessons teaches and shares how vital it is when we are working with others to empower THEM, and NEVER take THEIR power away from learning how to heal themselves as we may facilitate in their process.
IMHO (In my humble opinion) I think that every teacher, doctor, spiritual counselor, and practitioner of ANY kind that is working in the field of helping to uplift humanity would receive such a great gift in reading this book.
It resonated so purely within my heart and soul. It is genuine, real, and authentically empowering.
THANK YOU Steve for this beautiful and phenomenal gift to our world.
