As with the Kama Sutra, the legendary indian treasure, which many believe it is only a book that describes sexual positions, one may also expect, by its suggestive title, that Ms Monet's book might consist of an inventory of useful tips for unexperienced, though open-minded ladies or for horny readers in search of porno stimulus. Instead, I've found that "Sex Secrets..." is a well planned book with a twofold intent. On the one hand, is a well constructed and progressive narrative that makes the reader's interest grow slowly, one piece of information at a time, so she or he feels the erotic excitement getting closer and closer to a point of climax. Short, light chapters to be read at any time. But, as with the old Kama Sutra, the real intent here is not only the sharing of expertise. In this case, it's the liberating message what really counts. Ms Monet wise understanding of human rights and needs makes the difference from the happy-hooker type of tales. With clean and carefully chosen language, the author slides in a message of creative and respectful freedom of action. A reverential and uninhibited kind of sex. No doubt we'll see more sex philosophy than sex techincs in the future works of Ms Monet.
