After a very long wait for both thos book and the recognition, women can at last begin to understand why we don't seem to understand men. Like everything else in life, it is our brain. This book does an outstanding job explaining the intricacies of both the brain itself and of its chemical messagers, the neurotransmitters. The author is able to put the newest information in neuroscience into easy to understand language and has writen about a very complex subject in a very readable manner. Overall, I was overjoyed to have lived long enough to finally hear a female scientist state that we are indeed very different from males.

The Truth About Caffeine: How Companies That Promote It Deceive Us and What We Can Do about It
I really enjoyed this book - all my friends had to listen to the rave! Easy to read, and really interesting as a breastfeeding mother to see what pregnancy and breastfeeding had done to my brain. Loved the bit on children, and sex (Not looking forward to those teenage years with my girls!). I didn't like style where examples were given as 'real people' but that's a minor quibble. Read it cover to cover, and will reread again, once I have wrested it off my friends!
