Dr. Afremow's book is really about excellence and how to achieve it. Most athletes and people in general constantly compare themselves to others, and try to beat them or keep up with them. The best, Jim says, are constantly trying to improve themselves. Jim's book shows how to reach your potential and be the best YOU. I recommend it.
I would have to say this book is one of the few that I have read and immediately observed improvement in my performance skills. Not only have I improved performance on the field I have improved performance in my workplace and in the "game of life" in general. If you are looking for peak performance in life, I would definitely recommend this book. It is easy to read and anyone can understand and grasp the concepts in this book. It is phenomenal.
