Though a book written some years ago, it is a very good investigation around the world of the similarities among different cultures.

The script, allegedly the original language of mankind, told of an advanced worldwide civilization on a continent in the Pacific, which was eventually destroyed by cataclysm. A handful of black-and-white illustrations add a visual touch to this amazing speculation of unexplained wonders.
