This is quite simply the only practical way to go to the stars. Yes, by levitation and teleportation. Physics does not provide any basis for a technology of star travel.
Do not be under the impression that this book is about the title.
But then don't decide not to buy it because it's not about the title.
It is one of the more entertaining (and exhilarating) books I've read of late. The author is clearly his own man and presents a wealth of ideas in a wildly haphazard fashion. His take on UFOs is of interest, and I would've liked to've heard more, but instead of developing his ideas on the subject he launches into tangent after tangent never to return.
His basic premise is that UFOs are from a spiritually evolved race (or races), and that if we are to enter into the trans-dimensional fun we must spiritually evolve ourselves. And how do we do this? We strive, as a society, to realize his utopia which isn't a utopia. The bulk of the book is a description (with tangents, of course) of this utopia (which isn't a utopia).
While reading about his take on the right to bear arms -- that we should only be allowed muskets or blunderbusses because the large clouds of black smoke they generate would make it impossible for snipers to secretly shoot us -- I found myself curiously interested, but I also found myself wondering what it had to do with UFOs and Psi.
