Way of The Horse is not a traditional set of tarot cards. The deck itself contains forty cards with stunningly beautiful illustrations of horses. These designs do not follow the normal themes and descriptions as seen in traditional tarot sets. Instead, the themes are related to archetypes in mythology and historical sources. Such archetypes cover a variety of issues within the general topics of experience, leadership, creativity, and transformation. These archetypes are then correlated to the mind set of a horse.
For anyone who has been around horses, you know that horses do not think at all like humans. They do not see good versus bad. Instead, they see each experience as an opportunity to learn about themselves and to grow in their creativity, authenticity, and leadership skills. Thus, in their horse-like worldview, Way of The Horse cards are used more for personal growth than fortunetelling.
Frankly, I think almost every child grew up wanting a pony. Many of us fell in love with horses at a very young age. Just seeing these beautiful illustrations is enough to want to pick up this set. Those that do so will not be at all disappointed. These cards are unique and very well suited to those wishing to work on themselves and grow as strong, creative, genuine beings.
