Remember that old TV cop show where one of the lead characters always said "Just the facts"? That is what you get with this book, just the facts in a sensible non-speculative nature. Jason and Grant do not present themselves as scientist but they approach their "Ghost Hunting" in a manner being as factual as possible.
I've had the opportunity to meet Jason and Grant, and do an actual Ghost Hunt with them on a couple of occasions. What you see is what you get. They are non-pretentious, extremely well natured and some of the best "celebrities" I have ever met. A few hours with them and you feel like "family".
The comment in a previous review stated Jason as being sort of a hard person. He had some issues with one of his staff named Brian. When you see the Ghost Hunter show it has been edited down to 43 minutes after sometimes days of work. The heart beat of this whole adventure is the equipment. Without proper use of the equipment or being unable to locate key equipment can make and/or break this production. If your staff likes to exaggerate that doesn't help the reputation that Jason and Grant worked so hard to uphold. Yet every staff person, once you are a member, become family. Jason treated Brian as a brother with the honesty of his concerns, etc. Brian is currenting doing the International Ghost Hunters show which means he is still in the game and learning.
I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the facts by two men who just want to help people with their "ghostly" problems.
An Easy Read. Finished it in one day! Alot of information packed inside, many not shown on tv. A must for the T.A.P.S. fan, a must for anyone wanting to read about ghost hunting, hauntings, ghost stories, etc.
