Cheryl Richardson describes her personal journey into awareness of universal laws of attraction which she calls Grace because of her somewhat religious bent. That said, her tone is not so religious as to be off-putting. Her growing willingness to pay attention and trust that everything that happens to her is an expression of Grace takes her on amazing and fulfilling life adventures. I enjoyed her unassuming style and her sharing of her disappointing side-trips along with her successes. I will read this book again.
It is important for all us to recognize a divine power in our lives. As we struggle to find answers, if we take a moment to listen and look at our surroundings, we most likely would find the answers to our questions. I appreciate the point that things may not happen on our own timeline, but happen on a divine timeline. It is sometimes hard for us to fathom but the author makes the point for us to realize that ending a relationship can be a loving thing for both parties to do. The exercises were helpful but I was uninspired for the most part of the stories told by arbitrary people in the author's life. It was more helpful when she focused on her life stories and not the others. Overall a good resource to own, as a reminder of the great potential we all have.
