The poetry contained within the dark parameters of this book is a dying ember you want to at once covet, dislodge from your senses, and instantly blow on it and cradle it to keep it burning. It is an obviously poignant collection, filled with anger, resignation, but also with a horrifyingly honest outlook on existence, sexual ridiculousness, and the temporal aspects of our emotions. To put it bluntly, I was moved and shocked by its originality, its complexity, its simplicity. Very rarely does a poem drift off to sea and create its own island.
