Sylvia Browne has produced some excellent works, some educational and some just entertaining. I got the CDs of this, and was really disappointed. She spent 2/3 of the CDs on meditation and what other people had said, a kind of featherweight venture into syrupy pseudophilosophy. The number of actual predictions which she makes is very small and narrow. The whole thing is disappointing, probably the least effective thing she's done.
I could't put this book down and it was so interesting to read. My mother gave it to me and I loved it. Whether you are a skeptic or not I highly recommend this book. The first 3 chapters talk about and explore what a prophet really is and where prophicies come from. Sylvia also writes about each religion and what people in these religions believe in in the first chapter. There are phropecies mentioned about what will happen later on in the 1900's and 1800's by other prophets from 19th, 18th, 17th, and 16th century. Sylvia also writes about who the most famous prophets were and what they predicted, very interesting reading here. Many of it is true. Sylvia Brown later writes from Chapter 4 about what she sees in the world for us. This may be more understanding to read if you dont understand what a prophet really is or you are unfamiliar with history.
Sylvian Brown starts by teling us what will happen to the ecology of the earth, politics and economy, religion, education, space travel, technology, crime fighting and forensics, health and medicine, diet fitness, the way we look, mental health, realtionships, and spiruitality. Each of these have their own chapter devoted to them and Sylivia Brown sees what great achievements will be made in the 21 first century. She accurartely for the most part predicts in what year it will happen or maybe a few years later or a few years earlier. Sylvia Brown also goes into specifics which I found amazing. Since I am pretty educated by self. The most interesting read would be about health and medicine. Sylvia talks about what approximate year we will have better techologies that will help to diagnose illnesses from the 21 st century quicker. She also mentions the breakthrough of new medications and how there will cures for people still suffering from disabling conditions. Other people with other interest outside of medicine might find the other chapters mentioned above interesting too. She goes into what year in the 21st century; there will their be signifcant changes in school system, law enforcment, and politics. I highly recommend this book to read it is very interesting and a lot of the things Ms. Brown predicts sounds every real.
