The book relates some of the history of the development of Reiki in the western world, presents Reiki from a viewpoint that assumes one is interested in developing their healing abilities and their spiritual advancement.
I recommend it for all levels of practitioners or non-practitioners who are interested in learning more about Reiki, how it works and how it benefits the practitioner as well as the recipient. It is an interesting and easy read as well as being extremely informative. I have read it several times and still enjoy reading it. I'm always finding something new in it that I hadn't noticed before.
