First let me say that anyone who is into spirituality will get a lot out of this book, whether they're interested in A Course in Miracles or not. As for me, I tried reading A Course in Miracles a couple of times and although parts of it were certainly beautiful, I couldn't get into it because it was well, incomprehensible. The I read The Disappearance of the Universe and went back and read A Course in Miracles and I was stunned at how clear it was to me. I now find that I can understand the Course very well. I had read other popular books about the Course and they never came CLOSE to clarifying it for me the way "Disappearance" does. This is a great contribution to the spiritual community and should be read by any intelligent person who has an open mind.
Packed with humor and answers about spirituality, God and the world we live in, The Disappearance of the Universe is a great read that leans more towards spiritual truths for humanity as a whole. God wants us to love ourselves, and to get out of the madness we create within our minds. This truth is universally applicable. There are many truths in this book, and the stories shared are done with great humor. It's important to have an open mind while reading this book and to be willing to explore the messages that stand with merit on their own. I've never studied A Course in Miracles, however, I believe that you will undoubtedly find that the messages in this book matter and can bring great benefit into your life.
