The title of the book is as provocative as its contents. As the author states, "It is time to do some honest self-examination. Is modern Christianity the kind of spiritual movement that Jesus wanted to start?"
In answer to that question, some may say, "Yes, just follow my particular brand of Christianity, and you will be saved". But can you imagine just one relgion really being the only true religion, or the only truth around? And all the rest of the people on the planet are going elsewhere, or are simply on the wrong path?
It is your free will choice to believe it to be so and rightfully follow that path, but if are beginning to wonder that perhaps there may be something better, read this book. It may mean that you are ready to follow the inner path, the intuitive path to God, which can open doors for greater
awareness of why you are here, and who you really are.
Kim Michaels gives us a very interesting short history lesson of the birth of Christianity as we know it today. And then he takes us on a step-by-step process to clarify the possible inner meaning of numerous biblical verses, which has the perspective that Jesus came to show us a path that we all can follow: that we are here to become the Christ NOW as we live on Earth's schoolroom.
The author also proposes that bibilical scholars and intuitive folks get together to update the Bible, so that it can more easily be understood and relevant to people living today.
The book is easy to read, and even gives steps of making peace with God, practical ways to change Christianity, and steps to follow Christ's way.
