This book, although written by 2 doctor's was very easy to read and follow. The exercises are quite helpful and I found this program to offer a wide variety of solutions to help with my chronic pain. If you are ready to stop being a victim to your pain then this book is for you. It opened my eyes and has helped me both physically and mentally. I have a clearer understanding of what I need to do to assist my doctors in my recovery.
As an emergency physician, I frequently see and treat people suffering from chronic pain and mood disorders. This book contains critical core concepts instrumental in achieving maximum function and wellness, and perhaps even more importantly, an action plan for moving forward with life regardless of the degree of recovery one has achieved. I wish I could keep a big stack on hand and give them out with discharge instructions.
