This book offers a great introduction to two forms of Chinese Traditional Meditation (calm and moving styles). The author seamlessly combines his theoretical and philosophical knowledge with step-by-step instructions that are easy enough for the beginner and detailed enough for the experienced practitioner seeking to expand his or her knowledge of meditation styles. I haven't come across another Meditation book that is this easy to get into. It reads as if the author is speaking to you in a Meditation class, making the book incredibly easy to read over and over again. Also, the book demonstrates how meditation is not just about stillness, but is also an integral part to "moving meditation" forms like Tai Chi. Overall this book is a great introduction to meditation and Chinese philosophy, and I highly recommend it.
