This is something I would never have expected to see at Amazon -- the Shadow Tarot meets my every criteria for a truly magic(k)al book, a thing found when you need it, a thing that reads you at least as much as you read it. For anyone setting out on "the labyrinthine feeling way" or already fascinated by the Night Side, this is a perfect gateway, and it comes with a complete set of tools. In my opinion, this is the most important work done in the realm of the tarot since Lady Frieda Harris and Aleister Crowley put their heads and souls together.

There are very few useful books on the Nightside paths and the Tunnels of Set. This work takes the ideas in the Nightside of Eden by Kenneth Grant and actually gives the experiences and insights of the authors. If you have read any of Kenneth Grant's books you know what a chore it can be to actually apply and understand the information. This book is intended to be used with their tarot deck (I personally chose to draw out my own cards with the sigils and basic ideas). If you are interested in this book you should also buy Typhonian Teratomas: The Shadows of the Abyss by Mishlen Linden and Nightside of Eden for ritual work with the deck.
