Rabbi Haim David Halevy was chief Sephardic rabbi of Tel Aviv. He was also a major Halachic scholar, and a Kabbalist of distinction. Like his mentor the former Rishon L'Tzion, ( Chief Sephardic Rabbi of Israel) Benzion Uziel he had both great Torah knowledge and a strong concern for the unity of 'Am Yisrael'. In this work which focuses primarily on his Halachic teachings, we have an opportunity to study closely his wisdom and generosity in judgment.
