I don't think that this book even tries to bring the sides closer together. This is particularly evident from the shrill, lunatic, underhanded, hoarse-voiced supporters of this book. In the few instances where the book stops short of excacerbating even more tensions, its supporters have not. If these people are so eager to pick a fight, why don't they go and do some honest nation-building in Israel. Noooo - they're too aaafraid to be associated with Israelis. So, they thump their chests at us, as if they're proud to be something that they're afraid of being. Well, eat your guilt lady and gentlemen!
I read New AntiSemitism many moons ago and I through it in the trash. It's not even fit to resell or to donate. I was embarrassed to have it in the house. Some of the negative reviews are based on bias, but the insane bias in that book makes me wonder what higher education is all about in America. I feel sorry for anybody that supports those sentiments.
