Papaji has an amazing talent with words, one of the best if not the best I have read in my opinion.
His words lead you into the void, while reading it do the "mental acrobatics" which will lead you
directly into the nothingness the stillness that is beyond all thought.
Then again there are no tricks to it; it's your intent that matters.
David Godman who edits the series (2 books) has done an excellent labour of love. He has very diligently follwed up Ramana Maharishi's disciples to all corners of India to get an objective account of life and teachings of Ramana - the sage of Arunachala. His other series Power of Presence (3 volumes) is another set I can recommend. There is no hype nor any seemingly over enthusiastic attitude in these documentaries. It is amazing that after seven decades of masters demise, still the seeds are cropping up at unpredictable places. The work of a master does not end with his physical life is very true. In times of conflicts it is of some relief to know that transformation of human consciousness is procedding at a subtle level by many such masters and fortunately it is beyond the reach of political and religous organisations. David Godman has done a great service in providing these books.
