Recommendation:
"I have read many books about missions and I have studied this subject in a great depth. I have never come across a book that teaches so much about missions and at the same time provides a good discipleship training course. The purpose of this book is not only to give academic information but also to offer spiritual information.
"I do recommend this book for people who are feeling called to serve the living God and also to churches to use as biblical texts in their Bibles studies. It is an excellent resource for anyone desiring to have a better understanding of world missions.
"The writer of this book Mathew Backholer is a personal friend of mine and together we have been involved in many missions abroad. This book has been birthed out of his own missionary experiences and there are many precious lessons to be learned. Mathew has a tremendous heart for God and a great desire to reach out the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ." Rev. Fortunato Santos (M.A. in Missions).

The Author:
Mathew Backholer has been on more than thirty short-term mission trips in over twenty countries on four continents. The author has not researched theology books to collect information for this book, but with more than twenty years of diligent study of the Holy Bible and more than a decade of practical ministry, he has written from personal experience, whilst being guided by the Holy Spirit. Also he has gleaned from the experience of others with whom he has worked and who have helped train and mentor him, and there are many precious lessons that have been learned. This book is an essential for any disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, but especially those who desires to understand their responsibility in fulfilling the Great Commission, making and teaching disciples as part of the whole counsel of God. Mathew is the author of much of the ByFaith website (...) and also films and presents ByFaith TV (...) as seen on UCB - SKY- 766.
