This book should have been entitled something like "a defense of traditional conservative evangelical missiology". It contains an excellent survey of the range of views about the issues (eg holism, other faiths) but there is an underlying defensiveness, scaremongering and fundamentalist fear. Personally I was really disappointed to discover a reactionary reading of recent evangelical missiology.
