This little heretical jewel (132 pages) rates a strong 4 stars, if for no other reason than Dr. O'Clock absolutely crucifies the Church for what it has become. The book is not a condemnation of the ideals of the Roman Catholics of the world so much as a slam at the Church as a business gone bad. O'Clock does not plea with the Catholics to abandon ship, but instead asks them to take control of the helm.
This book, beyond a doubt, lists the largest number of supporting references I have ever seen. Then again, 30 years' research probably allows one to collect a veritable plethora of sources that support change within the Church.
Iaiah's Leper does not contain the rantings of a madman, it contains soft and intelligent deliveries of a man mad at how 1,600 years of nepotistic ego and misguidance can damage a religious idea that had such a good role model. That would be Jesus I'm speaking of.
Read Isaiah's Leper, and be of open mind. If you are strong in your belief, this book may anger you. But, if you have questions about the Church's teachings and the Church's infallibility, this book will answer many of those questions.
And, by the way, it is perfectly acceptable for non-Catholics to read this book as well. You may recognize your own church in this little gem.
