Easy-to-follow guide to the mass, including instructions on the postures & responses of the congregation.
I was a little worried about this book at first. When buying it, I noticed that it was put together by a conservative author. Nothing against conservatism (I would call myself a conservative). But there are some conservative Catholics that seem to be so hung up on going back to the "way it used to be" that their texts on liturgical rites end up being harrangues about "the way it is now" instead of true teaching materials or materials for reflection or prayer.
I was also a little worried when I opened the book, after it arried at my house. A little card fell out advertising a book that was a diatribe against things like lay Eucharistic Ministers and holding hands at the Lord's Prayer.
But, when I actually began to read the book I found that it was a clear, concise, easy to use book on the order of the mass.
I will use this with my adult education classes at church. Very nice.
