This is a nice book, but I thought it would be more substantive. I was hoping the book might help me come up with ideas for teaching my religious education class, but found the "activities" consisted mostly in little tear-out worksheets. Especially for the lower grades, the "activities" might be just a little coloring page, for example, that illustrate a lesson you have to come up with yourself. So it's a fine companion to reinforce what you're already teaching, but it won't inspire you to come up with a lesson plan.
I taught 5th and 6th grade Religion at Holy Family Cathedral School in Tulsa, OK. This book is wonderful for filling in those times when the students get finished early, or you need to 'stretch out' a lesson.
The book is divided into 3 sections, early, middle, and high school level. While I wish there had been more activities for middle school, the book is worth buying.
