I find this book very puzzling. I wanted to believe it. But I'm having a lot of trouble. It has so little in common with any of the other sources I've seen on this subject, and so many of the "letters from the other side" are so similar to each other. I believe that the author wrote them herself, or that they came from a source within her, what you might call her subconscious.
The books I consider to be the best are Michael Newton's Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls. If they are true, then where does that leave this book? The two concepts of the afterlife are diametrically opposed to each other.
The only way to fit some of these reports in with what others have said about the afterlife is that the spirits who wrote these letters are mostly ghosts who have not yet left earth and gone to their home.
I haven't finished the book yet. I'm about two thirds done. I find these letters depressing. Some report that there is nothing there, no Heaven, no people, and that they create their own Heaven with their thoughts. What a lonely thought that is.
Do you mean to say that after we die we go to a place where we are all alone with our thoughts? How boring. What a lot of nothing that would be.
Some of the letters disagree, and say that there are other people present. So there is no unified concept here.
Some of the writers have the exact same writing style as each other.
The reviews on this site are uniformly enthusiastic and disagree completely with my own reactions. I don't mean to be argumentative or to rain on someone's parade, but I'm just being honest here. I don't think this book is for real.
The view of the afterlife in this book is not a good one. All we have is our own thoughts? Spare me.
You have to buy this book and while your at it buy as many as you can afford and send them to everyone person you know.
I am not writing a long review, since theres already long reviews here, I am a medium and psychic and try to avoid mots books on spirit as spirit tells me what I need to know but this book I purchased and could not put it down. I am telling everyone I know about it and sending to whomever i know whom cannot purchase it. Its easy and engrossing to read. I would say perhaps its the BEST book on spirit I have ever come aross in my life, easily said, and that it may be the best book I ever read period. Its moved me that much, and I haven't even finished it yet. get the word out, read this book!
